The project launch phase focuses on organization and planning. It sets the project expectations and defines the “Big Three”: project scope, budget,and schedule. In The design Phase,the construction manager and the project delivery team complete detailed budget estimates and send them to the delivery team for review and approval. These estimates keep the design development within budget.The major work products of the design phase are completed construction documents; a final project budget that includes a list of equipment needed; a transition readiness assessment;and a final construction contract.
